Hey everyone, Happy (Late) Thanksgiving from The Nameless Editor!

Today I hope to release two versions of There and Back Again – The Composite Edition. This is my own take for a fan-edit of The Hobbit that stands worthy to the Lord of the Rings film, though it has been influenced by MANY other fan editors.

(Upfront, and aside, I would like to encourage any other Hobbit-cut-fan-editors out there to LIFT from my work freely; I took inspiration and used ideas from other fan-editors and I view the whole collective fan-edit phenomenon as a picture of the movie emerging from the source material itself, with the help of some clever minds.  With each new fan-edit, the cinematic story becomes more and more refined, so feel free to use this fan-edit in your own version if you please!)

I like to think that the old philologist, J.R.R. Tolkien wouldn’t mind kicking back with his pipe and watching this.

I also want to release a refined fan film, “The Battle of Dol Guldur” (previously taken down by the original editor) with a few mastering changes made here and there.

For this Thanksgiving season, I will attempt to release:

2. There and Back Again – Special Extended Edition

3. The short film, “The Battle of Dol Guldur – A Tolkien Appendices Feature”
